Delfeayo Marsalis, tb
An acclaimed, Grammy-winning producer, trombonist, composer, and NEA Jazz Master, Delfeayo Marsalis has also dedicated his prolific career to promoting music theatre and education. Marsalis has toured internationally with music legends such as Ray Charles, Art Blakey, Max Roach, Elvin Jones and Slide Hampton, as well as leading his own groups. At the age of 17, Marsalis began his career as a producer and has to date produced over 125 recordings, garnering one Grammy award and several nominations. In 2008, he formed the Uptown Jazz Orchestra, a highly entertaining ensemble that focuses on bringing the jazz party, all night long! As a leader, Marsalis has released ten cds to critical acclaim. The latest, Crescent City Jewels, charted in the Jazz Week Radio charts top 10 for 8 weeks. He states: “Art Blakey taught me a lot about patience and how to construct a solo. With Max Roach, I learned that I had to be on top of my game every moment. And Elvin Jones, who I worked with for seven or eight years, taught me about humanity, expressing myself through my instrument, and how to keep time without relying on other players.”

Duane Eubanks simmers. Percolates. The jazz trumpeter/ composer/arranger/producer is a multi-talented force whose fiery blasts and sweet distinctive sound carry his horn into a musical space that defies categorization. He studied jazz in master classes at Temple University with the legendary Dr. Billy Taylor. He cut to the chase and headed to New York. He was tapped by the great pianist Mulgrew Miller to join his ensemble, Wingspan. Acclaimed double-bassist/bandleader Dave Holland invited Duane to play with his big band on a pair of Grammy award winning albums. Eubanks became a hotly sought-after horn. He recorded and played with Elvin Jones, John Hicks, Curtis Fuller, Louis Hayes, Randy Brecker, Avery Sharpe and Nicholas Payton.
Renato Chicco, p
Pianist Renato Chicco studied at Berklee College of Music in Boston. While living in New York City he was a member of the Lionel Hampton Orchestra and pianist and musical director with Jon Hendricks. Renato performed in clubs like the Blue Note, Birdland and the Village Gate and performed in all over the USA, Europe, Asia and South America. He also performed with Lou Donaldson, Woody Shaw, Freddie Hubbard, Clark Terry, Benny Golson, Red Holloway, Joe Williams, Wynton Marsalis, Gary Burton, Milt Hinton and many others.
Glenn Fisher, b
Glen Fisher has worked as a bassist, composer, arts education consultant, and musical director all over Europe, South America, and USA for the past 40+ years. He has been tagged 'the poster child of versatility' by KSDS Jazz 88.3FM. At 60, he's a veteran band leader and musical director, and a virtuoso sideman as well who has played with Steve Gadd, Ellis Marsalis, ‘Smitty’ Smith, James Moody, Red Holloway, Charles McPherson, Bobby Shew, Jackie King and The Drifters, to name a few.
Joris Dudli, dm
Starting his musical journey in the late 1970’s as a studio session player, 18-year-old Dudli can be heard on many recordings of Austrian Pop Legends. After becoming a steady member of the “Vienna Art Orchestra” he has worked with all of Austrian’s Jazz Greats, even with Joe Zawinul’s “Syndicate” in 2004. In the late 1980’s, it was US trumpeter Art Farmer who played a major role in connecting Dudli with the New York jazz scene. He has recorded and performed with: Vincent Herring, Benny Bailey, Johnny Griffin, Clifford Jordan, Jimmy Heath, Tom Harell, Joe Henderson, Joe Lovano, Mulgrew Miller, Sal Nistico, Harold Vick, and many others.
